Brandenburg & Beyond

Brandenburg and Beyond is a New England-based chamber ensemble featuring combinations of flute, strings and harpsichord. The Ensemble’s musicians hail from all over New England and teach at universities and play in professional orchestras. From them you can expect music from the Baroque era to the modern day including an 18th century Flemish style harpsichord at all performances! Brandenburg and Beyond has performed on the Silver Center for the Arts Series at Plymouth State University, the Faculty Series at the Manchester Community Music School, Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club, the York Public Library Concert Series, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Londonderry (NH), St. John’s Episcopal in Portsmouth (NH). Their mission is to bridge the boundaries that separate Baroque and classical music from modern day influences, making the old new again! Think of Bridgerton meets James Bond! This is a Classical Series matinee concert. Seating will be in recital format (all seats facing forward). Though if you would like to enjoy refreshments as part of your experience, call the box office to reserve a table (4 people or more, please).
