Chelmsford Community Band Winter Concert

March 15 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Free

The Chelmsford Community Concert Band invites you to their Winter Concert on Sunday, March 15, at 2pm, at the Chelmsford High School Performing Arts Center. This year’s concert is a celebration of music that originated with the written word. The program includes homages to Hugo’s Les Miserables, Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens, and both the original Wizard of Oz and Wicked. The performance will also feature a piece based on Kerouac’s writings, penned by a local composer, UMass Lowell professor Daniel Lutz.

Admission to the concert is free, but donations are always very gratefully accepted so that the band can continue to operate. Suggested donations are $10 for adults and $20 for families.

The Chelmsford Community Band has a 75-piece concert band and a 20-piece jazz ensemble made of dedicated volunteer musicians with a proud tradition of bringing live musical performances to this community since 1972. They are supported by grants from the Chelmsford Cultural Council and your donations. Follow them on Facebook, Instagram, or BlueSky, and find them online at www.chelmsfordcommunityband.com.
