Community Christmas Chorus Concert

Community Christmas Chorus will present its annual concert to benefit the Westford Food Pantry on Sun., Dec. 14, at 7:00 p.m. at First Parish Church United, 84 Main St. Under the direction of Rene Minalga-Rheault, the 32 voice choir will perform sacred songs dating from the high renaissance to the 21st century, plus a lively arrangement of “Jingle Bells.” The women’s ensemble will perform a work by contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo. The program includes a solo performance by Donna Olson, a Westford native and Boston Conservatory graduate who has performed in opera and oratorios throughout the U.S. The program also includes an audience carol sing-a-long. Suggested donation for admission is $5 a person, $15 a family, plus 2 non-perishable food items for the pantry.
