Community Christmas Chorus Concert Presents Concert to Benefit Food Pantry

Thirty-one singers from several towns in the area will join together to present the group’s annual concert to raise money and collect food for the Westford Food Pantry. The concert takes place on Sun., Dec. 14, at 7:00 p.m. at First Parish Church United, 48 Main St. Directed by René Minalga-Rheault, the chorus will perform sacred songs dating from the High Renaissance to the 21st century, plus a lively arrangement of “Jingle Bells.” The women’s ensemble, Elements, will perform a work by contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo. The concert also includes a congregation carol sing-along and a performance by Westford native Donna Olson.
