Household Hazardous Waste Collection

This collection is only for Westford households (no businesses) and proof of residency is required. Please note there is a fee. Checks are preferred, made out to Town of Westford.

To safely transport hazardous materials, leave them in their original containers, tighten caps and lids, pack the containers in sturdy upright cardboard boxes that are padded with newsprint or scrap paper, and drive directly to the drop off site after loading your car.  Never mix chemicals and never smoke while handling hazardous materials.

Some types of hazardous waste such as motor oil, batteries (including automotive/tractor lead acid batteries, button batteries, and rechargeable batteries), and fluorescent tubes and light bulbs can be recycled locally, year-round, and for no fee.
