Westford Women’s Club – Women’s Roles in the Military: Then and Now”

“Women’s Roles in the Military: Then and Now” sponsored by the Westford Women’s Club at the Westford Museum.
The Westford Women’s Club invites you to a special presentation “Women’s Roles in the Military: Then and Now” with Westford resident Lynne Stader on Monday, November 18 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Westford Museum, 2 Boston Road, Westford.
The slide presentation is free and open to the public and pays tribute to the contributions of women in service to our nation’s military from the Revolutionary War to the present. Entertaining and informative, Lynne’s program highlights changes in opportunities for women serving their country.
A Navy wife and long-time advocate of women’s clubs and women’s issues, Lynne has served as a member of the Board of Directors of GFWC Massachusetts and the Women’s History and Resource Center in Washington, D.C.
Free parking is available along Lincoln Street and in the lot adjacent to the Police Station in Westford town center.
The Westford Women’s Club is comprised of women of all ages and backgrounds from Westford and the surrounding communities, and is a 501c3 charitable organization, serving the community since 1976.
