Decades before Columbus came to America, legend has it that Prince Henry Sinclair of Scotland, believed to be a member of the Knights Templar, came to Westford.
It’s still disputed whether this is history or fantasy, but it’s clear that a stone carving believed to have been made by Sinclair on Depot Street is a part of Westford’s heritage and this month a new covering and statue of Sinclair was unveiled thanks to the Westford Remembers Memorial Fund.
