The following information came from the Westford Police Department. Anyone arrested is considered innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
Sept. 4, 12:17 a.m. – Heriberto Melendez, 32, of 43 Sidney St. in Lowell was arrested following a reported breaking and entering on Providence Road.
Melendez had an outstanding warrant for arrest on previous motor vehicle offenses.
Sept. 4, 2:42 p.m. – Craig Palmer, 44, of 78 Keyes Rd. in Westford was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Groton and Nutting roads.
Palmer was charged with alleged failure to appear upon personal recognizance.
Sept. 4, 8:40 p.m. – Eric Caminero, 18, of 13 Bandon Cir. in Westford was arrested following reports of suspicious activity on Littleton Road.
Caminero was charged with two counts of alleged failure to appear upon personal recognizance.
Sept. 5, 5:27 p.m. – Fred B. Jacques, 62, of 87 Graniteville Rd. was arrested following a motor vehicle crash near the corner of Coldspring and Graniteville roads.
Jacques was charged with alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lane violations, and special regulations regarding speeding.
