ART AUCTION & SALE – Sat, June 30—Sun, July 1
The Friends are offering a collection of more than 200 pieces of framed and ready-to-hang art for auction and sale at the Parish Center for the Arts. The Friends have been collecting art for more than two years and have assembled a sizeable collection of pre-owned art, including: paintings, photographs and prints of all sorts. The weekend event opens at noon, Saturday, June 30, with free admission to an afternoon preview, silent auction and sale. Admission for the evening live auction event is $10. Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. will be the final opportunity to bid for silent auction items and purchase art displayed on tables.

Accessible Sewing and Quilting Guild

The Accessible Sewing and Quilting Guild will meet Monday, July 23, at 9 a.m., in the multipurpose room at the Cameron Senior Center. No prior sewing or quilting experience is needed to join. People of all abilities are welcome to learn how to sew, craft and to use Mitsy Kit adaptive craft kits. Mitsy Kit is the only patented, tactile sewing craft system using tactile guides and easy to follow steps. The goal is to bring people together across the community who are, visually impaired, elderly, and memory impaired. Everyone deserves a purpose.join us and discover creativity that is purposeful and accessible. Mitsy Kit adaptive crafting creates memories and connects lives, one simple kit at a time. Kimball Summer Party

The Friends of the Cameron Senior Center are sponsoring a BBQ and ice cream buffet for residents, ages 55 and over on Friday, July 13, 12 to 4 p.m., at Kimball Farm in Westford. There will be much to do from bumper boat rides, Nine-hole Pitch and Putt, two adventure style 18-hole mini golf courses, driving range, and music. Transportation is available by calling 978-399-2322. Residents who need assistance with parking are asked to call Katie at 978-399-2330. Admission: Westford resident- $25 Non-Westford Friends of the Cameron Member- $32. Kimball Farm is located at 400 Littleton Road.

Special Note the Cameron Senior Center will be closed at noon Friday, July 13.
