Realtor Mary McCauley delves deep into the sizzling real estate market with WestfordCAT news director Joyce Pellino Crane.
In the interview, Crane asks McCauley if buyers who pay more than $100K over asking price for a house in Westford, will find themselves in financial straits in the future.
“Hopefully they’ve locked in these lower (mortgage) rates…so their payments won’t be affected,” McCauley said. “But you’re right. If this isn’t your forever home and you’re paying hundreds of thousands of dollars over what the list price, you could run the risk of not recuperating that same price when you go to sell it.”
