Saturday at Westford Academy’s main gym brought mixed results for the Ghosts. Two meets saw a split ledger for the home team. They lost the morning fray against Franklin, 60-18 before gaining some redemption in the second meet, beating Algonquin, 48-30.

The dual meet moved the team’s record moved to 6-4. Some notable individual performances highlighted the day for WA. Three undefeated wrestlers include Dan Hickey in the 120 pound class; Henry Babineau at 220 lbs., and Matt Valcourt 285.

Also grappling on the main floor was a simultaneous gathering of K-8 wrestlers, who put on a show on two adjoining mats which kept the action moving throughout the busy morning.
