WESTFORD — Nashoba Valley Technical High School plans to host an open house for prospective students next week.
Prospective students and community members can tour the high school’s technical programs and classrooms, as well as meet instructors and learn about extracurricular programs.
The school offers 20 technical programs, including Automotive Collision Repair, Hospitality Management, Marketing and Veterinary Assisting, as well as Media Broadcasting, Engineering Technology, Culinary Arts and Dental Assisting among others.
Each family that attends the open house will receive a “swag bag” and will have the opportunity to win raffle prizes. Light refreshments will be available.
The school recently received a $2.5 million Skills Capital Grant to upgrade its Electrical Technology and Veterinarian Assisting programs.
The school currently serves students from Ayer, Chelmsford, Groton, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend and Westford. The open house will be hosted at Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s campus at 100 Littleton Rd. on Nov. 6 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
