WESTFORD — Stir Martini Bar and Kitchen will have a new home this spring.
The restaurant, located on Powers Road, plans to relocate to a former Chili’s on Littleton Road.
Co-owners Randy Richards and Caitlin Hannagan hope to scale the success of their martini bar into a larger space.
“It will look like Stir over there,” Hannagan said.
Hannagan added, “once we get in there and they [Chili’s] empty out the building, we will have our architect go in for a survey of the restaurant.”
She says she hopes to have a “30 to 40” seat bar with an additional function room. She says their current space could be used as a satellite location.
“[Probably] turning this into a burger joint. Maybe burgers and boozy shakes. More to come,” she said.
According to Hannagan, Stir plans to officially relocate sometimes this spring, with a target of April 1 as a “worst case scenario.”
Chili’s closed its doors in Westford on Sept. 26. Brickner International, Chili’s parent company, did not respond to an email for comment regarding the closure and if their employees will be offered work at other locations.
