WESTFORD — A new coffee shop is coming to Westford.
The Select Board on Tuesday approved an application for a Common Victualler’s License for LittleTown Coffee, which is required of any business that will cook, prepare, and serve food to the general public as well as offer seating and lodging.
LittleTown Coffee will take the place of Stem & Bean, which used to be at the 129 Littleton Road location.
“There’s a lot of new small businesses coming to town. it’s nice to see the economy picking up a little bit,” Select Board Chair Scott Hazelton said.
“They wanted to have their first brick-and-mortar location in Westford because a lot of the Westford teachers and staff like to go there on their way in,” Town Manager Kristen Las later added.
