WESTFORD — The historic Abbot Estate, which had been listed on the market for over a year and a half has been sold at auction.

The home was originally built in 1891 for Abiel Abbot, according to its listing. It sits on 3.84 acres and shares four addresses: 32 Main St., 1 Graniteville Rd., as well as 3 and 5 Randolph Cir.

The 9 bedroom home, originally listed for $3.8 million in June 2023 and later reduced to $3.4 million in April 2024, saw two additional reductions to $2.79 million before being relisted for $2.885 million.

JJManning Auctioneers hosted the auction on March 12, with two bidders competing for the property. The winning bid totaled $1.975 million. The final sale includes a 10% buyers premium, with the total final sale price at approximately $2.172 million.
