WESTFORD — WestfordCAT is launching a new weekly photo feature called “Heart of Westford,” highlighting residents who make a difference in the community.
This week, the first feature debuts with Patti Mason, pictured dressed as Winnie the Pooh at Roudenbush Community Center’s annual Halloween event. Mason has been parading as Winnie the Pooh in the Roudenbush Halloween costume parade for over 27 years. Mason has long been known to be an active force in the community and previously served as executive director at the Roudenbush Community Center.
In 2024, she was recognized by the Westford Museum and Historical Society at its annual “Wild Women of Westford” fundraiser. Mason has been involved deeply in the community in many ways and she also co-started the Cameron Food Distribution program for seniors at the Cameron Senior Center.
Residents are encouraged to submit photos of neighbors, volunteers and everyday helpers who embody the spirit of Westford — student volunteers, coaches, neighbors, event organizers or anyone you see making a difference in your community. Submissions should include a brief description of why the person represents the “Heart of Westford.”
Submissions may be emailed to ecollins@westfordcat.org or shared by tagging WestfordCAT on social media.
