WESTFORD — Boy Scout Troop 437 will host a Christmas tree pickup service the first three weekends of January.
The funds will go towards the troop’s 2026 high-adventure trips to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and Sea Base.
Residents who participate must remove all ornaments and tinsel from their trees and place them at the curb by their scheduled pickup time. Pickups will take place on the following dates:
- Jan. 3 — trees must be out by 9 a.m.
- Jan. 4 — trees must be out by 12 p.m.
- Jan. 10 — trees must be out by 9 a.m.
- Jan. 11 — trees must be out by 12 p.m.
- Jan. 17 — trees must be out by 9 a.m.
- Jan. 18 — trees must be out by 12 p.m.
The cost for pickup is $10 per tree: additional donations are welcomed.
Payments may be made in advance via Venmo to @westfordtroop437, or by cash or check at the time of pickup.
Checks should be made payable to Westford Troop 437. Residents paying by check who will not be home, are asked to place the payment in a plastic bag and attach it securely to the tree.
Participants must schedule their pickup in advance using the troop’s online form.
