WESTFORD CENTER — The Community Behavioral and Mental Health Committee is inviting residents to attend its “Hope Blooms Here” event on April 28.
The initiative is aimed at raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness. It will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the courtyard next to Town Hall and will feature a range of activities designed to bring the community together in support of mental health.
The event will highlight the Hope Gardens, filled with yellow tulips donated by Emerson Health and the Westford Garden Club as a symbol of hope and resilience.
The evening will also include live music by the Norman E. Day School Choir, along with resource tables offering information on local mental health services and support. Attendees can also participate in activities, enjoy ice cream from Kimball Farm and explore a “Storywalk” set up on the Town Common.
The event is free and open to the public.
