Water leak shuts down Westford roadway

NABNASSET — The Westford Water Department responded to a water leak on Nutting Road on Saturday.

According to the Water Department, the leak was first reported to them on Saturday morning.

Nutting Road was temporarily closed by the Westford Police Department, with detours put in place to allow Water Department crews to make repairs.

“Some customers on Nutting Road may temporarily lose water service as the repair is performed,” the Water Department said. “Area residents may experience low pressure or discolored water.”

The Water Department is advising residents to flush a cold water tap, espeically a bath tub fauced, for several minutes to flush out discolored water, once the repair is completed.
