The Westford Academy boys’ lacrosse team has earned the second seed in the Division 1 North MIAA 2014 Tournament and that means fans won’t have to travel far for their first playoff game on Tuesday night.
They’ll be hosting 15th ranked Revere (9-7) at 5 p.m. at Westford Academy’s Alumni Field.
If they win, they will host the winner of tonight’s Reading/Billerica matchup on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Ghosts finished the regular season 15-2, second only to Acton-Boxboro (17-3) in the North Sectional bracket.
LaxPower.com has them ranked as the fifth best boys’ lacrosse team in Eastern Massachusetts, behind only Acton-Boxboro, Medfield (18-2), Needham (16-2), and Duxbury (15-3).
