Westford Academy 2014 graduate Dillon McGee was named as Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week earlier this month for men’s cross country.

Now a freshman at Stonehill College, McGee earned the honor for finishing 164th place in the New England Championships with a time of 26:20.29.

McGee was the only Stonehill Skyhawk to finish in the team’s four meets this season, turning in a fifth-place effort at the 8 kilometer Shacklette Invitational with a time of 27:31.9.

He also finished 22nd overall at the Division II/Division III Challenge with a time of 26:51 and 67th in the Paul Short Collegiate Open Race with a time of 26:19.

Here in Westford, McGee was a Dual County League All-Star in cross country as a sophomore, junior and senior while also running track & field for the Grey Ghosts.
