Westford-based Aaronap Cellars recently earned four medals at the 2015 Big E Wine Competition.
With the win, they will now be showcased at the Eastern States Exposition, better known as the Big E, in western Massachusetts next month.
Aaronap won gold medals for its 2013 Revolution Road Red Merlot/Cabernet Franc blend and its 2013 Northeast by Northwest Chardonnay/Viognier blend. It also won silver medals for its 2014 Massachusetts Chardonnay and its Forest Gold Maple Wine.
The wine competition, now in its ninth year, included 275 entries from New England and New York and was judged by a variety of sommeliers, winemakers, enologists, writers and restaurateurs from across the East Coast.

“It is very satisfying to receive acknowledgement for the high quality of our wines from other members of the wine industry, in addition to enjoying them with our customers and friends,” said Aaronap’s Noel Powell.
Based on Carlisle Road, the winery has used Westford’s own history as a inspiration, and can be found at nine local farmers’ markets this summer, including Westford’s.
