APRIL 8 – The Rich Greenblatt Sextet, playing a mix of Swing-Funk with Vibes, will be performing for the PCA JAZZ Series at the Parish Center for the Arts in Westford. The group, consists of a deep bench of talented musicians: Rich Greenblatt, Band Leader (Vibes), Greg Hopkins (trumpet, flugel horns), Andy Voelker (saxophones), Mark Shilansky (piano), Keala Kaumeheiwa (bass), Patrick Gaulin (drums)

Greenblatt is a vibraphonist with “dazzling speed and a truly magical touch” writes John Blenn in “Good Times Magazine.” He has recorded four CDs as a leader,”My Take”(2015), “Hat Trick”(2009), “Hot and Dry” (2003) and “Mooin” (1998). Rich has performed and recorded with such great artists as Kurt Elling, Billy Mitchell, Dennis Irwin, Oscar Castro-Neves, Garrison Fewell, Kevin Hayes, Greg Hopkins, Winard Harper, Yoron Israel,The Barcelona Symphony Orchestra , The English Chamber Orchestra and the Vermont Jazz Center Big Band. Rich is an Associate Professor at the Berklee College of Music. He is an endorsing artist for Musser vibraphones and Vic Firth mallets. rich-greenblatt.squarespace.com.

Now in its 15th season, the Jazz Series has become the place in Westford to see top local, international and emerging jazz artists in an intimate and up-close setting. The venue offers cafe style seating.
