WESTFORD — Diamond, a 2-year-old female Pit Bull and Terrier mix is this week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week.
“[She’s] very high energy, very playful and very friendly,” Roger Logeman, a volunteer with the Lowell Humane Society told WestfordCAT.
She was surrendered in August due to a “strong prey drive” and “would’ve leave the cat in the house alone.”
“Our recommendation for placement is no cats and she should be the only dog in the house,” he said.
“Because she’s so high energy, we think she’d be fine with older kids. She’s not going to be vicious but she’s so active but she’d be likely to knock down little kids.”
Adoption hours are between Tuesday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 951 Broadway St. in Lowell. The Lowell Humane Society can be reached by phone at 978-452-7781 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Watch the full video below.
