Voluntary water use restrictions are now in effect. The Water Department requests that odd-numbered addresses water on odd-numbered days between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m and that even-numbered addresses may water on even-numbered days from 6 p.m. and 9 a.m.
Nabnasset Lake will be treated on June 8 to control nuisance aquatic vegetation.

News office hours are on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the J.V. Fletcher Library. Changes will be reflected on our studio calendar.

From the Health Department and Community Wellness Department:
The Health Department is accepting applications for residents to receive one free week of Kids Club Summer Camp, which begins on June 26 or $400 per child for the Recreation Department’s after-school program, which begins on Aug. 30.
Applications should be emailed to Regional Community Health and Wellness Coordinator Brittany Nash. Applications can also be mailed to Town Hall. Applicants must be Westford residents and be at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Westford has been selected to participate in the CDC’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
The Red Cross is hosting two more blood drives in June.
- Roudenbush Community Center on June 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- First Parish Church on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The League will host its annual meeting on June 7 at 7 p.m. at the Westford Museum.
From the J.V. Fletcher Library:
The J.V. Fletcher Library is hosting drop-in study hours for students during finals. Accommodations such as coffee, tea, snacks and pizza will be provided.
- June 12 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- June 13 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- June 14 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The library will not allow reentry past 9 p.m. and students must leave by 10 p.m.

Dave Martsolf is June’s artist of the month. His work will be on display between June 1 and June 26.

The Strategic Planning Retreat is tentatively planned for Sept. 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kimball Farm.
Discussions on an open public hearing regarding a proposed firearms shop bylaw will continue during the July 17 Planning Board meeting at 7 p.m.

The Affordable Housing Trust will meet virtually on June 7 at 7 p.m.
The Board of Assessors will meet on June 8 at 9 a.m.
The Budget Task Force will meet virtually on June 7 at 12:30 p.m.
