WESTFORD — Classic Kitchen Café has been selected to be featured on America’s Best Restaurants.

Classic Kitchen Café has been an instant town favorite since they opened in September of 2022. Owned and operated by Samantha Connor and her husband, Gabriel Dantas, the couple pride themselves on their strong community presence.

“We started at our smaller location and we got a lot of regulars from the community, we built some really good relationships with them and then we started bringing in more people and built relationships with them,” Connor said, “It just started growing and that’s how we gotten to be a part of Westford.”

Now, it’s not just the Westford community recognizing the café — it’s also America’s Best Restaurants (ABR), an organization that highlights standout, independently owned restaurants across the country.

ABR will visit Classic Kitchen Café on June 6 to film a feature segment.

The three-hour filming process will include interviews with staff and customers, a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation of three popular dishes, and a gift card giveaway for two longtime supporters.

Connor said that she is excited but nervous for the event.

“They’re coming on a busy day, which is fantastic, Friday is a busy day, but trying to balance the restaurant on top of that, I’m a little nervous it but we’ll manage” Connor said.

Classic Kitchen Café has received nothing but support from the community that they have built over the last three years.

“People have been very, very excited, we have a lot of customers coming in tomorrow and it’s a lot of our regulars people who have been coming in since the week we opened,” Connor said, “Westford, our regulars and the community are just such a big part of us.”

Connor said that she has a lot of pride in her business, staff, and customers and believes that  their team’s care and dedication are what have led to their success today.

“I think the quality of what we serve is very, very good. My husband, Gabriel, is the cook and he’s very particular about what goes out and I’m very particular about the front of the house and the way everyone is treated up front,” Connor said, “We try our best to make everyone who comes in here feel like they’re coming to our home, we try to make everyone comfortable and it’s a very cozy family.”
