WESTFORD — The Westford Police Department announced last week that residents can no longer park on town streets for longer than one hour between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. from November through March 31.
Parking on town streets during during a snowstorm or following a snowstorm while snow plowing and ice removal is taking place, will also be forbidden, the police said.
All residents who violate the ban will receive a $25 fine, with the possibility of being towed.
Additionally, the police said residents who throw, dump or leave snow in the road will receive a $50 dollar fine.
