WESTFORD — One person was hospitalized and another was charged, following a three-car crash on Depot Street on Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Thursday, the Westford Police and Fire Department responded to the crash, which happened at the intersection of Depot Street and Woolsack Drive.
According to Westford Fire Chief Mike Denehy, one person involved in the crash was transported by Westford Fire EMS to a nearby hospital. A relative of the person who was hospitalized later stated that they were “doing okay”.
WestfordCAT was at the scene of the crash, where two cars sustained heavy damage, with a third sustaining minor damage. A road sign was also knocked down as a result of the crash.

Depot Street was blocked off by officers, who were redirecting traffic around the crash.
Officers then charged one of the drivers involved with reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Depot Street was later reopened to traffic Thursday night.
It is not yet clear what caused the crash, which remains under investigation by police.

One Response
Westford Police doesn’t care about road safety. Try getting them to respond when motorists try to use their vehicles as weapons against pedestrians, and you get told not to use the crosswalk because it’s “too dangerous”. Do we need the motorists to cause property damage to be heard? Do people need to die first?
