Rep. Arciero and Sen. Cronin present Crisafulli Elementary School with $100,000

WESTFORD — Westford’s state representative Jim Arciero and state senator John Cronin recently presented $100,000 in funding, that the lawmakers secured in the state budget for technological equipment upgrades in classrooms for the Crisafulli Elementary School in Westford.

Superintendent Christopher Chew, Crisafulli Principal Sharon Kennelly and Assistant Principal Samantha Holmgren joined Arciero and Cronin for the presentation of the funding on Feb. 11.

Alex also has experience working in local government at the Boston City Hall and Massachusetts State House. Originally from Arlington Massachusetts, Alex graduated from Suffolk University in 2022, where he wrote for The Suffolk Journal and was a student reporter for NECN's 'Suffolk in the City'. When he’s not in the newsroom, Alex enjoys traveling, watching sports, playing soccer, running, hiking, fishing, playing guitar, listening to music and going to the movies.
