Nabnasset Lake to be treated for nuisance vegetation Monday

WESTFORD — Nabnasset Lake will be closed on Monday to control nuisance aquatic vegetation.

According to the Health Department, the lake will receive chemical treatment from July 10 until July 11.

Officials urge residents to avoid using the water for drinking, cooking, irrigation, boating, fishing or swimming until July 11.

SOLitude Lake Management is handling the chemical treatment of the lake. For further information, residents can contact SOLitude Lake Management at 508-885-0101.
