WESTFORD — The Finance Committee is scheduled to meet on Thursday night – here’s what to expect.
Residents may participate by attending the meeting in person in the Town Hall or via Zoom at 7 p.m.
Those who wish to tune in may watch the meeting on YouTube after it concludes, Comcast channel 9, Verizon channel 34 or via Castus.
The meeting may also be accessed via WestfordCAT’s app, which can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play Store and Roku.

The committee plans to review its FY26 budget policy direction. The draft policy direction is similar to the committee’s existing direction but excludes Covid-era American Rescue Plan Act funds.
The committee will review its draft timeline for the FY26 budget process. Important draft dates include:
- Westford Public School’s budget presentation to the School Committee on Dec. 2.
- The Town Manager’s budget presentation to the Select Board on Dec. 10.
- The Finance Committee and Select Board department budget review on Jan. 9, 2025, through Jan. 23, 2025.
- The Finance Committee’s review of the Finance Committee Book and warrant articles on Feb. 27, 2025.
The committee also plans to approve minutes, reassign committee liaisons and assign members to sections of the Finance Committee Book.
