WESTFORD — The League of Women Voters will host its Special Town Meeting preview later this month.
The organization said its goal is to educate residents about the meeting warrant, according to a news release shared with WestfordCAT.
The event will be held via Zoom on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. WestfordCAT will record and share the event on YouTube.
The deadline to register to vote for Special Town Meeting is Oct. 11 at 5 p.m. Residents may register to vote online or in person at the Town Clerk’s office.
Residents who plan to attend the meeting should take this survey so the town may better plan for the number of attendees.
WestfordCAT reported that the warrant will consist of several zoning articles, as well as a citizens petition to allow remote participation at future town meetings.
Special Town Meeting will be held on Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. at Westford Academy.
