WESTFORD CENTER — The town will host its first Restaurant Week starting this week.

Westford’s first annual Restaurant Week will begin Friday, May 15, and last through Wednesday, May 20, highlighting local restaurants, bakeries, breweries and other businesses throughout town.

The week-long event has been organized by the Town of Westford Economic Development Committee and the Westford Business Association with the hope to grow the celebration year over year.\

The event is designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore Westford’s dining scene while supporting local businesses and nonprofits, according to a town news release. The celebration is meant to showcase the variety of restaurants and community organizations that help shape the town’s identity and attract visitors from surrounding communities.

Participating restaurants and businesses will offer special menu items, discounts and promotions during Restaurant Week.

Among the participating establishments, Burtons Bar & Grill will feature a special gluten-free Bolognese dish during the event.

Evviva Trattoria will offer a three-course menu and donate $1 from each meal sold to the See A New Sun Foundation.

Paul’s Diner will provide customers with a $5 gift card for every $50 spent before tax and tip when Restaurant Week is mentioned. The promotion is valid for dine-in customers only.

Pleasant Street Bread will offer 10% off all preorders for pickup on May 19.

The Works Cafe will feature its limited-time “Crunch For A Cause” bagels in collaboration with chef Irene Li. Proceeds from the bagels will benefit Project Bread.

Attendees will also be able to vote in People’s Choice Award categories, including Best Breakfast, Best Appetizer, Best Entree, Best Dessert, Best Beverage and Best Overall Presentation.

Community members are encouraged to visit participating locations throughout the week and support small businesses that contribute to Westford’s local economy and community culture.
