Junie’s Place, an area nonprofit providing no-cost bereavement support, will host Creating Together, a free, mosaic-making gathering for bereaved families on Saturday, November 14 at 12 p.m.
After the death of a child or the loss of a pregnancy, your world can feel like it’s in pieces. Putting together the fragments of what used to be can feel nearly impossible. The pieces may never fit together as they once did, and yet, somehow, we find ourselves trying to build a life around what remains.
Join Junie’s Place for an afternoon of art, reflection, and connection. Through the creation of a mosaic, explore what it means to piece together a life that has been forever changed. Take the opportunity to connect with other bereaved families who are navigating their own grief. Conversation will be guided by Junie’s mommy, Dr. Kristen Dillon.
This experience offers space to honor the parts of you that have changed, the parts that remain, and the love you carry for your child, while creating something to take home in their memory.
Tiny Tile Mosaics Studio is located in Chelmsford Center. No artistic experience is necessary. Free to attend, but registration is required, as space is limited to 20 participants. To register, please email info@juniesplace.org.
