The Massachusetts House of Representatives recently passed unanimously House Bill 4869, An Act addressing barriers to care for mental health, with language included from a bill filed by State Representative James Arciero to address mental health services for veterans on state college campuses— a priority of Representative Arciero during both this legislative session, as well as the last one when the proposal was originally filed for consideration. Â
MassNAHRO helps organize and coordinate the 242 local housing authorities across the Commonwealth, managing over 43,000 units of state-subsidized housing and 38,000 units of federal-subsidized housing, which serves not only individuals and families in desperate need of affordable and public housing, but our veterans seniors and people with disabilities populations.
