Roudy’s Polar Express:  Join us for an afternoon of fun.  Make and take home crafts, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate while watching the Polar Express movie and a visit from Santa.  Drop off your child ages 3 and up, or stay for a fun family afternoon.  Sunday, Dec. 6, 1 to 4 p.m.  $15 first child, $10 each additional child.

Holiday Centerpiece Workshop: Come make a beautiful centerpiece for your home.  We will show you how at this Weston Nursery workshop.  $38/$35 Sunday, Dec. 13, 1 to 3 p.m.

Boxwood Tree Making Workshop: Start with an adult beverage, take s stroll through our greenhouses or browse the Weston Nursery store.  Next, create a holiday tabletop tree using freshly clipped boxwood.  These trees are perfect for your holiday décor or to give as a gift.  $28/$25, Tuesday, Dec. 8 10 a.m. to noon, or 6 to 8 p.m.

Holiday Party (Ages 8 to 12):  Share the holiday spirit with the Kitchen Kids.  Drop off children to enjoy this hands-on cooking party where we eat what we make.  A $4 material fee due to instructor at drop off.  $28/$25, Monday, Nov. 30, 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Beginner’s Guitar 1 Night Workshop:  You will learn the fundamentals of tuning and caring for your instrument, holding the pick, how to read chord diagrams and simple strum patterns.  You will learn to play 3 songs by the end of class.  Tuesday, Dec. 1 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  $33/$30

Lego Robotics School Vacation Program (Grades 3 to 5):  This fun program will introduce your child to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  Students will have the option to modify predesigned plans or create and program robots on their own that will undergo various challenges.  Creativity is encouraged and student designed challenges are welcome.  Monday to Wednesday, Dec. 28 to 30.  9 a.m. to 3 p.m.   $183/$180.

Nimble and Nifty over 50:  Fridays, Dec. 4 to Jan. 8, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.  This class is designed for the over 55 person looking for a fun fitness environment.  Learn how to build strength, balance, coordination and muscle mass all in a small group setting.  $43/$40.

Staying Safe When Home Alone (Ages 9 to 14):  Ever stay at home along while other family members are gone?  This class will help children learn safety rules for staying home alone.  Learn how to deal with strangers, phone calls, emergencies and other common problems without fear.  $26/$23, Saturday, Nov. 29, 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
