Westford’s Samantha Hyslip contributed eight points on Saturday to help the Stonehill Skyhawks defeat American International on Saturday, 55-44.
Hyslip was 4-for-6 shooting from the field. Junior Kelly Martin of Scituate led the Skyhawks with a game-high 16 points.
American International was ranked 18th in the NCAA Division 2 SIDA Top 25 poll and received votes from the USA Today Sports/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division II poll.
With the win, Stonehill climbs to 10-9 (5-8 in the Northeast 10) and American International College falls to 15-4 (8-4 in the NE 10).
