Westford residents are welcome and encouraged to participate in a new program hosted by Emerson Hospital.

Starting on Feb. 15, the hospital will be hosting a Freedom From Smoking group clinic to help overcome tobacco addictions and enjoy the benefits of better health, extra money and healthier relationships.

Claire Rindenello, RRT, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Coordinator at Emerson Hospital, will lead the program.

All classes will be held at the Emerson Hospital Cheney B conference room, located near the main lobby of the hospital at 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner in Concord.  The cost to participate is $100. Smokers age 18 and over who are interested in quitting are welcome to participate.

For more information, call Rindenello at 978-287-3715. To register, visit www.emersonwellness.org and find the Freedom from Smoking class in the alphabetized list under the Classes and Programs menu.
