Annual Person of the Year Event – honoring Patti Mason. Thursday, April 7 at the Westford Regency Inn. Cocktails and silent auction starting at 6 p.m., dinner and presentation at 7:30 p.m. $65 per person, $475 table of 8. Get your tickets online at www.roudenbush.org by Sunday, April 3. No tickets will be sold after that date. Come enjoy an evening honoring Patti and supporting the Roudenbush Community Center.

Preparing for Labor & Birth – This one time workshop is offered during the last trimester of pregnancy to expectant mothers and their birth partner or companion. This workshop will guide you through the different stages of labor, providing the opportunity to learn and practice the following: a variety of body positions using during labor, simple breathing techniques that will calm you and massage techniques to release session. Saturday, April 16, 9:30 a.m. to noon. $128/$125

Vegetarian Anyone? – Learn how to transform springtime vegetable favorites into delicious savory treats. We will make entrees and side dishes that will dazzle your family and friends. $4 material fee payable to instructor at class. Wednesday, April 6, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Spring Lawn Care – Weston Nurseries’ lawn and turf expert Jim Connolly will guide you through starting a lawn and how to keep it growing throughout the year. He will cover the different types of grass seed, as well as crabgrass, weed and insect control and lawn maintenance. Bring your questions and get your lawn off to a great start. Saturday, Apr. 2, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. $13/$10

Your Home Orchard – If you are looking to plant a fruit tree in your yard and not sure how to care for it, this is the class for you. Learn from Bonnie Woodward everything from plant selection, to how to install and maintain fruit trees of all types. Saturday, Apr. 10, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.   $13/$10

Gentle Yoga – A manageable and slower paced yoga practice for anyone who is either physically active or hampered by temporary or chronic limitations. We will focus on postures that will help you move easily and maintain a positive attitude after the practice is finished.   Saturdays, April 2 to May 28, 9 to 10:15 a.m. $103/$100

Essential Oils – Join us and find out what essential oils are, which ones to use for what purpose, how to use them safely with adults, children and animals, and how to identify therapeutic grad oils. It’s informational, fun and interactive with many oils available for you to smell and experience. $18/$15, Thursday, April 7, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Introduction to Shamanic Healing – Join instructor Brad Hudson to learn the healing knowledge we all shared in ancient times. Learn to identify and remove illness from the spirit body with the assistance of your power animal. Learn power healing and extraction techniques. Bring a mat to lie on, blindfold or bandana, notebook and pen. Prerequisite: Intro to Shamanic Journeying Parts 1 and 2. $68/$65. Thursday, April 7, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Meditation – Mind without agitation is meditation. When the mind becomes free from agitation, it becomes calm, serene and is at peace and meditation happens. Anyone can use meditation to help cope with physical problems, stress and anxiety. Join us and unwind from your day. $103/$100, Mondays April 4 to June 6, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
