Take A Tour, Scout the Store At The Open House At The Cameron

Open House at Cameron – Newcomers Welcome!

Newcomers, newly-retired seniors or anyone who’s never been to Westford’s Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford, are invited to “Open House at the Cameron,” Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. – noon.

Tours start at 10 a.m.  Visitors can explore the Cameron, check-out the fitness center, visit the various activity, hobby and exercise rooms, browse the library, shop at ‘Trudy’s Boutique’ thrift shop, see the community food pantry, and more.

Afterward, visitors can meet the staff, learn more about the Cameron’s myriad programs and activities, services and support available, upcoming events and what’s new – and find out what keeps people coming back.  Drop-ins welcome.

Trudy’s Boutique, the non-profit thrift shop at Westford’s Cameron Senior Center, is holding a week-long ½ price clothing sale, September 12-16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The shop features clothing for men, women and children, as well as household goods, décor and jewelry – all at affordable prices.  During the sale, all clothing items are 50% off, except shoes and specialty-rack items.

Trudy’s Boutique is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds raised support the programs, activities and outreach services of the Cameron Senior Center.  Located on the second floor of the Cameron, 20 Pleasant St, Westford, the shop is handicapped accessible and reachable via an elevator.

Donations of in-season clothing and clean, usable household items are gratefully welcomed year-round.  For more information, call 978-692-5523.
