School Bus Accident on Forge Village Road

UPDATE — A Dee Bus Service school bus driving students from the Nashoba Valley Technical High School was in a collision with another vehicle on the afternoon of Jan. 4. The accident occurred on Forge Village Road in Westford.

Linda MacDonald, manager at the Tyngsborough-based bus company, confirmed the accident but declined to give further details. She would not say whether anyone was injured.

“We haven’t reviewed it to so we don’t want to give out any information,” she said on Wednesday at about 4 p.m.

MacDonald said the accident took place on Forge Village Road at the intersection of Town Farm and Abbot roads.

She declined to identify the bus driver or to specify how many students were on the bus.

WESTFORD — Superintendent Everett V. Olsen has issued a notice saying that a Nashoba Valley Technical High School bus was in an accident this afternoon, Jan. 4, on Town Farm Road.

No injuries were reported, he stated.

This accident did NOT involve a Westford Public School bus, Olsen said.
