College Financial Aid 101: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. This class is intended for parents of high school students, and the instructor will review financial aid basics, especially the financial aid formula and how different schools determine eligibility. Understanding how it is calculated will help parents maximize the financial aid their child receives. Cost: $24/$21 individual, $29/$26 couple.

Babysitting Basics Ages 10 to 14: 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 25. Learn child care, fun children’s activities, dealing with with common problems and safety tips for all ages. Cost: $39/$36.

Clay Play for Ages 5 and Up with Parent: 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 27. In this one-hour pottery workshop, children will learn basic of hand building and pottery painting, with an air dry clay. Each child will learn to create a fun sculpture, dish or pot, utilizing techniques of design and painting. Everyone will bring home a completed piece of pottery. Cost: $38/$35, adult with 1 child, $10 each additional child.

Healthy Eating on a Budget for Seniors: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April. 3. Free nutritional education and cooking class to help seniors stay healthy, eat right and choose an active lifestyle.  Instructor will guide seniors through fun, hands-on activities during the 1.5 hour program. To be held at Cameron Senior Center in Westford. Cost: Free, but must register online.

The 3rd Annual Person of the Year Event honoring Nancy Cook ofWestford, will be held at the Westford Regency Inn on Thursday evening, April 13. Ms. Cook has been involved with countless non-profit and community organizations including the Westford Council on Aging, American Federation Suicide Prevention, Toys for Tots, and others, giving her time, talent, and expertise to those who need it most. She is currently the Executive Vice President of Cook and Concord Oil.

Please join us in honoring a very special person who has dedicated her life to community and volunteerism.

Cocktails and a silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner and presentation at 7:30 p.m. The cost is: $65 per person, $475 table of 8.  Get your tickets online at www.roudenbush.org  by Sunday, April 9.  Proceeds to benefit the Roudenbush Community Center.

Family Maple Sugaring Workshop: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 24. Learn to tap a tree and make your own maple syrup. This fun workshop includes visual presentation for tree identification and sugaring process, tool touch, Native American Sugaring Legend, sugaring history and nutrition facts, sap and syrup-tastings on fresh, warm waffle wedges.  Children as young as 6 are welcome accompanied by family. Cost: $28/$25 family.

Aromatherapy: 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March. 29. Learn how to make a relaxing or detoxifying bath salt and a room freshener.  Basic aromatherapy blending techniques will be taught.  The benefits of practitioner-grade aromatherapy essential oils and how to safely use essential oils for you and your loved ones will also be discussed. Leave with gifts to use at home.  Material fee of $5 payable to instructor at first class.  Cost: $43/40.

Paint and Sip for Adults and Teens: 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March. 30.  Grab some friends, a partner or take some time for yourself! Relax, sip some wine and be guided through an acrylic painting.  No experience required and all materials are provided.  Teens are welcome, if accompanied by an adult or with written parental permission.  Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for those under 21. Cost: $38/$35.
