National Drug Take Back Day, sponsored by the Westford Police Department and Health Department and the state Drug Enforcement Agency, gives residents the opportunity to clean out medicine cabinets and get rid of expired prescription and over the counter medications, say officials.

The event takes place Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. t o 2 p.m. at the Westford Police Department, 53 Main St., Westford.
