World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, 11 a.m. on June 15
Residents are invited to join Alison in learning to identify elder abuse, neglect, and self-neglect and how to handle concerns. Resources for support and assistance will be discussed. Residents are asked to call Alison if interested in attending: 978-399-2325. Located in the Welcome Area at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St. Westford.
Veterans Luncheon, Wednesday, June 15 at 12:30 p.m.
Host: Terry Stader, Town’s Veteran Agent.  Veterans and spouses are welcome. Lunch will be sponsored by Bill Vullo, Commander of the American Legion Post #159. Residents can sign up at 978 692 5523. Located in the Multipurpose Room at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford.

Protect yourself from Medicare Fraud! Friday, June 16 at 11 a.m.
A free informational Medicare workshop with Pat McMillen, a representative of the Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol program. Seniors will have an opportunity to participate in a discussion on how to prevent, detect, report healthcare errors, fraud and abuse. Residents can register at 978 692 5523. Located at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford.

ANTIQUE ROAD SHOW, Friday, June 16, at 1 p.m.
Sponsored by RiverCourt Residence, Groton. Residents are encouraged to bring their family heirlooms to learn how much they are worth. Ice cream sandwiches and popsicles will be available. Residents can sign up by calling 978 692 5523. Located in the Multipurpose Room at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford.

Pickle Ball, Tuesday, June 20 at 10 a.m.
Cost: $5 per person for each session. This six week session will be at The Mill Works located at 22 Town Farm Road, Westford. Two orientation classes with an instructor on how to play pickle ball will be provided. This program is being subsidized by the Cameron Senior Center. Please sign up at 978 692 5523.
Book Club, next meeting is June 20 at 6 p.m.
This book group meets on the third Tuesday of every month. We will be reading The Ship of Brides by Jojo Moyes. As a group we decide the future books to review. Hope to see you in our cozy library at the Cameron Senior Center 20 Pleasant St., Westford.  Please call to sign up at 978 692 5523.
FARM TO TABLE lunch, Friday, June 23 at 12:30 p.m.
Monthly meal prepared from freshly picked crops from WorldPeas Sustainable Farming Project in Lowell. Seniors who would like to help with this lunch, are asked to email patreppucci@comcast.net. Residents can sign up at 978 692 5523. Cost is $5. Located in the Multipurpose Room at the Cameron Senior Center 20, Pleasant St. Westford.

 

COA van trip: Let’s Play Ball! Saturday, June 24 at 4:45 p.m.
Residents are invited to join the COA van on  to watch the Lowell Spinners versus The Connecticut Tigers from the Party Deck. Food voucher will be included. Space is very limited so please residents are asked to call 978 692 5523 as soon as possible. Cost: $30.00 Meet at at the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St. Westford.
