The in-school restaurant, The Elegant Chef, is again open to the public Tuesdays through Fridays, from 11:30 to 1 p.m.Reservations are not needed, but to make one or to obtain a menu, call 978-692-9958.
The teaching team of Chef-Instructors Fran Zentgraf and Carley Capraro from the Culinary Arts program, and Chef-Instructor Jeremy Bussiere from the Hospitality Management program having their students well-prepared to prepare and serve the best — and most cost-effective — lunch around.
The Elegant Chef is a multiple award-winning restaurant, having won the Best Entrée category six times in the last 10 years at the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Nashoba Valley competition, held every March.
The in-school salon, Cosmo Cuts, is open Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon, and Tuesday, for special groups only, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Cosmo Cuts offers such services as shampoo and cut, conditioning treatments, hair colors, perms, manicures, facials, makeup applications and much more at prices far below those of other retail salons. Instructors Donna McMahon and Sheriley Farrand have decades of experience between them, and their upperclass Cosmetology students are prepared to serve local customers with quality hair and nail treatments.

The school store, Viking Village Mall, is also open Tuesday through Friday, from 11:30 to 1 p.m. The store sells Nashoba Tech merchandise, including sweatshirts, caps and other items of clothing, as well as other products. Marketing instructor Sarah Ricard and her students operate the Viking Village Mall.
The in-school branch of the Lowell Five Cent Savings Bank has also reopened for the convenience of customers. There is an ATM at the branch and another drive-through ATM at the end of Nashoba Tech’s driveway. The bank is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Branch Manager Kelli Eliopoulos can be reached at 978-577-0322.
Other retail services Nashoba Tech offers to the public include automotive repair, automotive collision repair, and graphic design.
Also, through a vote by the School Committee, Nashoba Tech is a member of the Military Community Covenants Policy, through which current and former military members and their families receive discounted goods and services, including 5 percent off the cost of a Nashoba @ Night adult-education class, and 10 percent off the following services:
- Lunch at The Elegant Chef.
- Cosmo Cuts services.
- Viking Village Mall merchandise.
- Automotive and automotive collision repairs.
- Graphic-design work.
- Athletic gate fees.
