The Westford Annual Tree Lighting hosted by the Westford Girl Scouts takes place on Sunday, Nov. 26, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the Westford Common.

Activities include caroling led by the Westford Girl Scout Chorus and Santa arriving by fire truck.

The lights will be turned on at about 4:30 p.m. by the Westford Garden Club, which purchases and operates the lights. After Santa arrives, attendees can bring their cameras and head inside the Parish Center for the Arts located across the Common at 10 Lincoln St. for pictures of children with Santa.

Girl Scouts will also be handing out candy canes and providing crafts.

Supporters and sponsors of this year’s event include the Westford Girl Scouts, the Westford Police Department, the Westford Fire Department, Westford Garden Club, Westford Parks and Recreation, the Town of Westford, Parish Center for the Arts, Ellen Harde, Zac Cataldo, and Santa and his Elf.
