Virtual Westford Job Seekers Meeting: Wednesday, March 17 at 3 p.m.: Join us for “Paying For Your Own Health Insurance?” with Bob Gaughan. To attend a WJS Meeting, please email Dina Kanabar at dkanabar@westfordma.gov.  Attendees will receive a link to access the Zoom Meeting via email. Virtual Cooking with Julie for Teens and Tweens – Egg Salad Tortilla Wrap Plus 6 Ways to Cook Eggs: Thursday, March 18 at 4 p.m. Explore new recipes in these FREE virtual events for participants entering Grades 5 to 12. We will provide you with a full recipe (ingredients and instructions) to review and have ready before each program starts. You will be using your home oven and stove. Register here and view the complete schedule and recipes. Every Thursday at 4 p.m. – February through April.

Virtual Beans, Books, & Bestsellers – Coffee with Your Favorite Librarians!: Friday, March 26 at 2 p.m. Drink in the aroma, the anticipation of new and old reads perfect for winter nights, and spend time with your favorite librarians talking upcoming books, series releases, new genres and movies! A Zoom invite will be sent to all registrants. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and join us on Zoom! Register here. .

Virtual Cartooning Class: Friday, March 19 at 3:30 p.m. Offered every week in March (with a different theme) for kids in grades 5 and up. This week, award winning cartoonist and humorous illustrator Rick Stromoski will teach you how to draw furry, hooved, and feathered friends. Register for this program through the Library Events Calendar. This program is made possible by COVID funding secured by Senator Edward J. Kennedy, First Middlesex District.

Virtual Adventures with Seed Starting: Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m. Enjoy this interactive session of gardening tips and tricks with Judith Taylor. Content includes details on seed germination, potting up, indoor growing vs. direct seeding, lighting, fertilization and transplanting. Register for this program through the Library Events Calendar. You’ll also receive a seed starter kit, which you can pick up through our Curbside Service. This program is limited to 30 people.

Virtual Monday Mystery Book Club: Monday, March 22 at 2:30 p.m. We’ll be discussing Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz. Print copies are available through our Curbside Pickup Service. You can also download the ebook and digital audiobook from Hoopla and Overdrive. To register for this program, contact Sarah Regan at sregan@westfordma.gov.

Virtual Pajama Time : Monday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m.: Pajama Time is held once a month on a Monday evening for children ages 3 to 7. Children can watch in real time – register for each night separately up to 6 pm, you will be emailed a meeting link to log into. Get into those pajamas and grab a favorite stuffed animal or blanket. Virtual Mother Goose: Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. For kids of all ages! Zoom in and join us for rhymes, songs, and signs. Register for this program each week through our Library Events Calendar.
