WESTFORD — After reopening its ice cream stand, Kimball Farm announced another step in its spring reopening.

In an April 7 post on social media, the business announced its Westford Grill and Sea Shack would open for the public daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Newly constructed in 2020, the stand serves items such as fried scallops and clams, lobster rolls and burgers. Outdoor seating is available for patrons.

Kimball Farm employee Aidan Morello spoke with WestfordCAT on his excitement for the farm’s reopening.

“I really like coming here a lot,” he said. “I loved coming here a lot when I was younger.”

He continued, “that’s why I decided to work here. I can be around the things that used to make me excited and help give other people that.”

Morello notes that even with other offerings in Westford, he always seems to default to Kimball Farm.

“You think of a lot of places around Westford and it always seems to be Kimball’s”

Other sections of the farm, such as the driving range and Pitch and Putt are open for the season, as well as its ice cream stand, which opened on March 31.

The farm’s other activities, such as mini golf, batting cages, bumper boats and arcade remain closed at the time of reporting, and no date has been officially announced by the farm.

“We’re hoping to open next week, but that’s weather dependent,” an employee said in a phone call to WestfordCAT.
