WESTFORD — You may want to double-check your calendar for vacationers looking to escape the heat for a day at the lake next week.

Nabnasset Lake and Long Sought For Pond will be treated for nuisance algae later this month. The town of Westford has posted disclaimers highlighting the dates and when the waters will be safe for swimming.

Both Nabnasset Lake and Long Sought For Pond will be treated on July 22. The town advises residents to refrain from using or entering the water until July 23.

Solitude Lake Management will treat both bodies of water. Residents with questions should contact Solitude Lake Management at 508-865-1000.

Both bodies of water will be safe to use after July 23.
