WESTFORD CENTER — A Westford resident was recently recognized with the 2026 Good Neighbor Award from the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
Charity Edwards, a member of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Massachusetts, received the 2026 Good Neighbor Award during the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Conference and Awards Dinner on Sept. 8.
The award recognizes realtors who demonstrate a commitment to their communities through volunteer work and civic and charitable contributions.
Edwards is the founder of Indelible Lives, an organization that provides resources and support to individuals and families affected by mental health challenges and addiction. She has devoted her time to building the organization and raising funds for its mission since 2021.
According to the Association of Realtors, Edwards’ work was inspired by her own personal loss, which she turned into a mission focused on providing hope and support to others.
Indelible Lives provides resources to families dealing with addiction, grief and mental health challenges, offering support during difficult times.
“The loss of a child is something no parent should have to endure, but the way Charity has channeled her grief toward giving back to her community is remarkable,” said Kristen Keegan, President of the Association of Realtors. “Her ability to use her own experience to lift others up is an inspiration and a true reflection of what it means to strengthen a community.”
In addition to her work with Indelible Lives, Edwards is involved with other community organizations, including Riverbend’s Zack’s House in Lowell, which provides transitional sober living for young men.
